Embrace the Dark Side: The Art of a Perfect Dark Roast Blend

As a coffee nerd, I've always been a bit of a purist. Single origin beans, lightly roasted, carefully brewed - that's my ideal cup of coffee. But I have to admit, there's something undeniably satisfying about a good dark roast. The deep, rich flavors and the bold, robust body make it the perfect pick-me-up, whether you're starting your day or unwinding after a long one.

That's why I'm excited to introduce our Dark Roast Breakfast Blend. We've taken the time to curate the perfect mix of rotating single origin coffees, sourcing beans from some of the best coffee-growing regions in the world. Each batch is carefully roasted to perfection, resulting in a complex, harmonious symphony of flavors that are easy on the palate.

Whether you prefer your coffee with milk or cream, or black, our Dark Roast Breakfast Blend delivers a satisfying and strong cup that's perfect for any coffee lover. It's got a bold, rich flavor profile that will awaken your senses and satisfy your taste buds. And, despite its dark roast, it's still surprisingly smooth and balanced, making it a great choice for anyone who loves a strong, satisfying cup of coffee.

I hope you enjoy our Dark Roast Breakfast Blend as much as I do. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a delicious and satisfying cup, I'm confident you'll love it. But don't just take my word for it - try it today and taste the difference for yourself. And if you're feeling adventurous, here's my recipe for a perfect french press with our Dark Roast Breakfast Blend:

To make a delicious French Press coffee, you will need the following ingredients: freshly ground coffee beans (use 30g for every 500ml of water), a French Press, hot water (just off boiling, around 200°F), a scale, a timer, and a spoon. Here is the step-by-step process:

  1. Preheat the French Press by adding hot water to it and swirling it around to warm the glass.

  2. Pour the hot water out and add your freshly ground coffee to the French Press.

  3. Start your timer and add enough hot water to cover the coffee grounds (around 200g).

  4. Let the coffee bloom for 45 seconds to allow the gases to escape and the flavors to develop.

  5. After 45 seconds, add the remaining hot water to the French Press, making sure all the grounds are fully immersed.

  6. Place the plunger on top, but do not press down yet.

  7. Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.

  8. Carefully press down the plunger to separate the coffee from the grounds.

  9. Pour the coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy the rich, bold flavors of your homemade French Press coffee.
